Hello, we have a new mini-album called “Memoria Textil”. It’s a limited edition of 100 handmade CD-R’s with screenprinted cover art on tanyon fabric. On February 2, 2010 we’ll make available the digital version of the album on balun.bandcamp.com for free/pay-what-you-wish! We would love to borrow your ears.

We are playing in Puerto Rico for the first time in a while and to commemorate the occasion we are going to release a limited edition handmade mini album! This will precede our 2nd full length album that will also be released this year. Think of this album as the 1.5 album. But don’t worry our friends who don’t live in Puerto Rico or that can’t go to the show, we’ll also do a digital release after the show so that everyone can download it and be happy. Our special guests for this show will be El Oso y la Pantera and the show will be at Executive Manolo an awesome art space /store in Santurce so save the date!

Hey all, here’s an unreleased song from our upcoming 2nd album in 2010! It will be released by Si No Puedo Bailar (Brazil) on vinyl, which we are pretty excited about! We’ll do a digital release too.  This new song is called Camila. She’s one of our new friends. Been with us since last January.

MTV Brazil also wrote about the song and picked it as one of the best songs of 2009. Wepa!

BONUS: Download “Un Pequeño Tema” from the Balún vault over at 8bitcollective. This is a song that we never thought would never leave our hard disk. Turns out we were wrong.
